Nanny housekeeper

Job description.

We are a family of tree and are looking for a Nanny Housekeeper.

Our primary need is to receive exceptional childcare for our 9 months old baby, whilst also helping with general housekeeping tasks.

You will not be solely responsible as the mother will be at home most of the time.

The mother may occasionally leave home for a short period of time.

Key responsibilities:

Childcare:

feeding & changing nappies
maintaining a healthy sleep schedule
engaging in age-appropriate activities and playtime

Housekeeping:

hoovering, dusting, tidying up
assisting with laundry, folding clothes and ironing
keeping the kitchen and common areas clean and organised

Key information:

Being flexible to occasionally care for the baby during evenings or weekends.

The successful candidate should be willing to join the family during holiday on occasions.

We are looking for someone who is happy to commit to a long term arrangement (including the possibility to increase the number of hours when the family expands). The successful candidate will become an integral part of our family.

Qualifications:

– proven experience in infant childcare
– ability to create a safe and nurturing environment
– reliability and punctuality
– qualifications in childcare are a plus.

Location: Theale, Reading

Hours: 3 afternoons a week, 5h, 1pm to 6 pm

Driving license required: No

Employment type: Zero hours contract

Salary: £15 per hour

Start date: 1 month notice
